2. IMAGES AND RELATIONSHIP TO APOCRYPHAL LITERATURE
1) Thomas at the wedding feast of the king of Andrapolis; left to right: the Hebrew flute girl, the king and queen, Thomas, the bride and groom, and the cupbearer, striking Thomas on the face (cf. Pass. Thom. 6–8). Inscription: to be determined.
2) A lion attacks the cupbearer (cf. Pass. Thom. 9). Inscription: to be determined.
3) Thomas preaches to Mygdonia and her attendants (Pass. Thom. 39–40).
4) Thomas, kneeling, prays and an idol falls from a pedestal. An executioner stands behind Thomas with a sword. King sits on a throne flanked by two attendants (or priests) (cf. Pass. Thom. 51–60).
